Well last night we made our first race of the year with Dylan in the 247 car. Night was certainly not bad but it wasnt great either..i made several suspension/setup changes for this year to try and make the car faster and fix some of the things the various drivers told me from last year. There was a good 19 car field of USRA - United States Racing Association B Mods at Tri-State Speedway and we would start pole of 3rd heat and would lead the first 4 of 6 laps before Jaxon Ledford (who drove a few times fir us last year) would get around on lap 5 and win the heat and we got second. Would put us starting 3rd row outside of the A Feature and he would stay in the 5th through 8th range the whole race and would end up 6th. Congratulations to Jaxon on his first win.
After the race and talking with Dylan about the car he said it just didnt feel like the car would get all the way over on the right front..and I could kinda tell the balance of the car wasnt there..like the left rear was not helping get the car to the right front..so going to make a few changes and we probably will have B-Dub Brian Williams in the car this weekend at the USMTS - United States Modified Touring Series at Tri-State Speedway
